I first met Sarah and Dan back in 2021 when Sarah’s sister reached out about him proposing! She came to me with a full game plan: Dan was taking Sarah to Rhema’s Christmas Light Show, had picked out a spot, and then sent me photo of them so I knew who I was looking for (very important step !!!!)
It was perffffecttt, and who doesn’t love a good Christmas proposal?
I started taking on photography bookings in 2019, so I was still fairly new to the game at this time! I decided to take my business full time at the beginning of June 2022, and wanted to start off with a content day for photographers and to help grow my portfolio — why not start with a bang, right? Well, I of course had to ask the real life Barbie + Ken if they’d be interested in modeling for me and they were in with no hesitation, and I had the perfect look in mind. After getting them to play dress up for me, we were pretty much both equally obsessed with each other. LIKE… LOOK AT THE MAGIC WE CREATED.
From here, we wasted no time + got straight to wedding planning and everything in-between. I shortly after captured Sarah’s graduation photos from TU, Dan’s graduation photos, bridal photos… we really have been together through all the milestones in each other’s lives for the last 2 years, and I have LOVED every last minute of it!!!
Their wedding day was all things dreamy, colorful, tear-jerking, and overall perfect. The rain decided to come heavy RIGHT before ceremony started and had no end in sight, so they had to make the last minute call to move things indoor! Of course, they were a little bummed.. but that wasn’t going to get us down! The ceremony was everything they had dreamed of, and as a peace offering.. mother nature gave us the most STUNNING sunset just in time for their bride + groom photos.
To know Sarah + Dan is to love them. I am so honored I have been alongside to tell their love story through my art, and can’t WAIT for the many more to come!
