Every Wedding Day starts the same, with Flatlays! Of course hellos and big hugs as we arrive but soon after we get right to work capturing your in incredible wedding day details. This designated time allows me to sit in my creativity, let it flow, and fuel me for the rest of your wedding day!
You might be asking “what exactly are the details??” Details are anything that make up the entirety of your wedding day, no matter how big or small! It’s whatever you mailed out to your friends and family, or items that you’ll be wearing or carrying throughout your day! You don’t have to think this list up on your own, I’ve got that covered! Everyone of my brides receives a detailed check list of everything that’s needed long before the wedding day!
Detail shots help give the full picture of your wedding day in your wedding album. Sometimes, Wedding days can seem to fly by in a blur. It’s easy to forget about the small details that were essential to making your wedding day just perfect! That’s it is so important to make sure these are captured for you. The “small” things of your day deserve to have a big notoriety, especially after all the time you spend curating, pinterest pinning, and pouring your heart into making sure they were perfect!
Dress + Shoes – Everyone loves a good dress shot! After all the time you spent picking THE ONE, you better have some amazing pictures of it after your day is over!
Bouquet – Florals are a HUGE part of your Day! It’s the essential piece that ties all of your decorations and colors together, not to mention it was a great investment for you! It’s so important to make sure you have them there at the start of your day so that they can be incorporated into your detail shots!
Jewelry – Necklace, bracelet, earrings, etc.
Hair piece or Veil – Styling details with your veil is a major favorite of mine! I love the texture and dimension the look of a veil adds to images!
Old, New, Borrowed, Blue – This isn’t a tradition that everyone follows. If you do, make sure to have all of the items with you!
Full Invitation Suite – From your Save the Date to your RSVP card, to polaroids for your engagement session. Your invitation is what starts the tone of your whole wedding, long before your wedding day even comes! Be sure to bring 2 sets if you have things printed on the front and the back – we wouldn’t to leave out a single thing!
Sentimental Items – An heirloom ring, a picture of a loved one, something from your mom’s wedding, ect. If it’s important to you, it’s important to me so much sure it’s there so that I can incorporate it for you!
Letter/Gift from Groom – Not everyone write letters but you can include your vow books here also.
ALL THREE RINGS!!!! – This one is a big one!! I love to style all 3 rings together in your detail shots, but so often the grooms ring is at a different location! Be sure to have all of the rings together and with the bride!!
